Seminar on “Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking”
A seminar on “Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking” was organized by the Department of Computer Science, Union Christian College, Aluva on 14thNovember 2023 for all the three batches of B.Sc Computer Science students. Mr. Resal V, Cyber Security Engineer, was the resource person.Ms. Ann Maria, Tech by heart employee, assisted the resource person in the seminar. The programme started at 1.30pm on 14th November 2023.Mr. Resal V talked about modern cyber threats, like phishing, malware, ransomware, and social engineering. Participants gained a better understanding of the importance of cybersecurity and ethical hacking, the risks associated with cybercrime.The seminar equipped the participants with the knowledge and skills required to implement effective cybersecurity measures and defend against cyber threats. The session was quite interesting and interactive.The seminar came to an end at 3.30pm following a group photo.
