QUIrioZity ‘20 – Inter School Quiz Competition 2020
QUIrioZity ’20, anInter-Higher Secondary School IT/CS Quiz competition organized by the Department of Computer Science, U C College, Aluva was conducted on January 4th 2020. Twelve teams from different schools in and around Aluva participated in the event. The competition wasorganized under the leadership of Mrs.Gincy Abraham (HOD, Department of Computer Science), Mrs.Asha Das(Association Staff-in-charge)and other faculty members of Computer science department withMaster. Gokul Krisha as the Program coordinator.
A Preliminary round of written examination consisting of 25 questions was conducted at theCS1 classroom at the Computer Science Department. From the preliminary eight teams were shortlisted for the Semifinals.
Semi-final round,which included a Google form based online test, was conducted at the CS Lab. Four teams got qualified for the final round.
The final round of QUIrioZity’20 was held at TBN hall, UCCollege.Master.Amal P Franglin(3rd BSc.Computer Science) served as the Quiz master for the session.
Mr. Mohammed Sharooq N and Mr, Elton Benjamin D’Souza from Sacred Heart HSS won the first prize worth Rs.3000/- and Mr. Krishnadev P V and Mr. Sreehari K S from MAMHSS won the second prize worth Rs.2000/-. Prizeswere distributed at the end of the program by Dr. David Saj Mathew, Principal In Charge / Drawing And Disbursing Officer, U C College, Aluva .
