QUIrioZity’19 – IT/CS Quiz was held on 12, January 2019 in the Department of Computer Science.
The Quiz Competition was held for the Higher Secondary Students to test their IT Skills and knowledge. The Quiz Competition had 3 rounds – Preliminary, Semi-final and Finals. Preliminary was conducted as a written test and Semi Finals was an Online quiz. 13 Schools participated in the Quiz Competition. Students from various schools like MAHSS Nedumbasserry, MGM HSS Kuruppampady, Infant Jesus Koonammavu, Brahmanamdodayam HSS Kalady, Islamic HSS ALuva, Rajashree S.M Memorial Aluva, Sacred Heart HSS Thevara, Govt. HSS Boys Paravoor, Govt. HSS Chengamanad, NSS HSS Parakadav were participated in the Quiz Competition.
The Prelims and Semifinals was held in the Department of Computer Science and the finals was held in the T.B Ninan Hall. The Competition started at 10.00 am and got over by 1:30 pm.
The Prizes and Certificates were distributed by Ms. Gincy Abraham, Head of the Department and Mr.Cijin K Paul, former Head of the Department.
The following students were declared as winners of the Quiz Competition,
First Prize: Amal Kuruvilla Babu, Shone Antony George from Sacred Heart HSS, Thevara.
Second Prize: Sachin Sanjeev, Rohit Manu from Brahmanamdodayam HSS Kalady.
