Workshop on Data Analytics with PYTHON
A workshop on Data Analytics with Python was organized by the Department of Computer Science on 18th March 2022. Dr. Bindu Krishnan, Professor & Head, Department of Data Science, CS&IT, Jain University, Kochi was the resource person. The workshop was organized for the final year students of B.Sc Computer Science. The workshop started at 9.30am. Dr. Asha Das, Head of the Department, Union Christian College, Aluva, addressed the gathering and welcomed the resource person. This was followed by the session handled by Dr. Bindu Krishnan. She explained the basics of data analytics and the students were given an insight into how to handle the Anaconda and Jupyter environment. Students were also given a hands-on session on data preprocessing, data visualization, how to handle missing data and testing hypotheses. Session was very interactive and was very informative to the students. Almost 25 students from final years participated in the workshop. At the end of the workshop Dr. Asha Das, Head of the Department proposed the vote of thanks and the workshop came to an end at 4.00pm.
