Workshop on NPTEL Online Courses for Students
An awareness class cum workshop for NPTEL courses was conducted Ms.Gincy Abraham, Asst.Professor, Department of Computer Science, UCC for the students of U C College on 27.07.2018. The aim of NPTEL Awareness Workshops is to create maximum awareness among students about NPTEL and its various initiatives. The workshop includes sessions on NPTEL and its features, NPTEL Online Certification courses and the concept of NPTEL Local Chapter. The students will become aware of NPTEL and how it can be used and how to enroll in various online certification courses to benefit their career. Post workshop, the attendees were given the opportunity to share their feedback. Open and honest feedback were shared by the students. From the feedback it was clear that the students found the sessions informative and the workshop has helped them to gain an insight into the various certification programmes from NPTEL. The workshop has also motivated the students to pursue online courses in the NPTEL platform.
